Welcome to Dragon Fyre Computing
Here you will find information on web site development, custom graphics, flash, cgi scripts, java scripts, and java applets. In spite of what some would have you believe, web site development is a mixture of several programming languages and graphics. It is also very much an art form. It is very possible to have all the necessary parts of a web site and still have it look absolutely horrible, not to mention taking forever to load and NOT being cross browser compatible.
There are a number of computer programs such as Microsoft FrontPage®, Adobe Pagemill®, or Macromedia Dreamweaver® that will build you a web site. However, it has been my experience with my clients that they have very limited control over the finished product using these programs. Most computer programs have a tendency to add some proprietary coding that serves no purpose, slows down loading time, and can limit cross browser compatibility.
All my web sites are completely hand coded to eliminate unnecessary code and guaranteed to be compatible with the most popular and latest browsers being used. My pages are also validated (syntax checked by a specialized program) to DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional. What this means is the search engines and standard browsers will like the page. Think of it as running a text document through a grammar and spell checker. Text and graphics will be positioned where you want them, how you want them, and will be viewable by anyone.
A short word about Dragon Fyre Computing:
The company name is derived from Arthurian and heraldic legend that views the dragon as symbolic of strength and fidelity. This ties in perfectly with my Christian beliefs and my work ethic. Information you give me to build your site remains with me. When I am working for you, it is as if I am doing the work for Christ. You will get the very best I have to offer in skills, abilities, and dedication to producing a web site of which you can be proud.
